Located in the heart of Manhattan’s financial district, adMarketplace seeks a Director, Business Development with strong industry contacts and strategic perspective to grow our network of Content Publishers. The Director, Business Development will be leading the team responsible for adding publishers to the adMarketplace platform.

adMarketplace has built an industry-leading proprietary PPC platform and forged strategic relationships with the Internet's premium marketers.

You must be comfortable communicating the value of adMarketplace, developing partnerships with web publishers, leading a team, and closing deals. You must also have deep experience in the online advertising industry and connections to Pay Per Click publishers. The opportunity for higher level deals also exists.

Responsibilities:
  • Closing partnerships with inventory partners

Requirements:
  • Five years experience in a business development and/or online media environment,

Online Advertising Account Executive

We are looking for a talented, highly motivated, and dependable individual who knows how to close business from large online advertisers, their agencies and Search Engine Management shops.

Your job will be to sell the value of adMarketplace, develop relationships with large online marketers, their agencies and SEMs. You must also have a clear understanding of the PPC advertising market.

The successful candidate for the Sr. Software Engineer position will be joining a development team that has a passion for building great products. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of developing applications in Java-based application server environment using technologies like Tomcat, MySQL, Memcached.
  • Experience developing and maintaining multithreaded Java applications in a Linux environment, with working knowledge of shell scripting.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database systems (MySQL experience preferred) and proficiency in logical data modeling.
  • Strong XML data handling skills, and experience developing and interfacing with Web Services (Axis/SOAP/REST)
  • Experience building 24/7 distributed, scalable, clustered systems is a big plus.
  • Online media and advertising experience a big plus.
  • BS/BA in computer science.
  • MS preferred and/or equivalent training and experience.
  • A "Get things done" attitude.
